Being aware of God in everything.

Sitting outside beneath the warm sun,
A visitor flew in and landed on my tray.
I stroked the back of the ladybug,
And as it flew away, I thought “I touched God’s creation today”.

I pondered from where it came,
And what it was made of.
What an inkling it gave,
As I thought of the power of love…

How many times have I touched God’s creation?
How have I been affected by its power?
I felt God telling me that it is in every relation,
In every blessing, every love shower.

I touched God’s creation when I held my newborn nieces,
I touch God’s creation each time they hug and kiss me.
When I see someone laughing, or a heart falling to pieces,
Both, powerfully real, I wonder where they lead.

To make someone smile.
To be a hug when needed.
To feel something worth while.
To have my love heeded.

An understanding heart.
A soft word spoken to a friend.
A love which never parts.
A friendship which hasn’t an end.

What has God flown into your life?
What is He showing you in a special way?
I’m thankful my ladybug arrived
To remind me that I can touch God’s creation today.

That is so beautiful. I suppose everytime we touch a living thing we are touching God’s creation. It is a wonderful way to look at life.
