Men always get the best cars. Women make do with the car that can be used for everything.

It really seems quite remarkable
How strange some men can be,
For if wives want a change of car
We have to have something that will …
Take us camping,
Do the shopping,
Deliver the kids
To where they need dropping,
Take the rubbish
To the dump,
Not lose stomach
When it hits a bump,
Not need cleaning,
Go well in the rain,
Take the whole family
On a holiday in Spain,
Be cheap on petrol,
Can carry both dogs,
Even cart home
A trunk full of logs.
Why can’t they look at their wives and see
That most women want what they do
A smart and attractive motor
That’s impractical, gleaming and new

Yup- its right- I have had quite impractical cars- and still do . I want what you’ve got!- I think some females are just scared of having there own flash car- but secretly would love one. – One for each day of the month would be nice- and with different reg plates and.. and and.. dream on

Oh how I can relate to this issue..Very good description of the problem..

  • OhSugar on Feb 23, 2009

Very nicely done. I agree, that men don’t really think too much about what is right for women when it come to a thing, such as a car. A husband should be a little more considerate to his wife’s feelings, when not only buying a car, but in every area of the relationship.

  • Celia Heart on Feb 23, 2009

This is so different. I agree with OhSugar’s comments. They say it all

  • Karen Gross on Feb 23, 2009

I tried driving my hubby’s 72 Nova Super Sport to work for awhile when I was between cars. I went up a couple of notches in the High School teachers’ Cool Meter, but I could never get that blasted thing to start.
