I want to ask God to grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change and to change the things I can!

I want to walk with the water shoulder to shoulder
talking about the times long gone by!
I want to hug the fire with all the passion of a long lost friend!
I want to convey my love to the mountains in no uncertain terms!
I want to kiss the chilling wind right back on its face and
I want to create a garland of all such beautiful emotions
To keep them treasured in my soul for all ages to come!
I want to love and to be loved, with the same intensity of my love
by the snow, birds, leaves, stars and that of the natural surroundings!
I want to hear the day long conversation between the leaves and the wind
I want to listen to the chirping of birds, while trying to learn their beautiful language

I want to walk on the slippery grounds all along the shores of the

Riverside without getting slipped up even once!
I want to hike on the mountains without feeling tired and frightened
I want to wake up every single morning, listening to the soothing murmurs

of the desert sands!

I want to drink the first cup of tea in the morning
while standing shivering in front of the river on top of the mountains in the winter!
I want to drink the last cup of tea in front of the bursting fire
under the open space of the sky and of the stars in the rainy season!
I want to have a day-long conversation with the Sun
while enjoying the first five million Sunrays on my face in the autumn mornings!
I want to silence the silence and to silence the noises
I want to eat, sleep and talk to the serenity of the time at least for one single moment!
I want to ask God to grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change

I want to go beyond the physical world and to enter into the eternity of happiness and joy!
