A love is stronger than pride plea in a relationship.
If there was something I could bring
to the table to ease our discomforts-
I would.
Perhaps we would both
lay down our weapons,
erase our strategies,
throw out our tactics.
So then our inhibitions
would be set free
knowing that we are as is
when we are in each others arms
as is.
