Inspired by the remix of "what else is there" by Royskopp.

I was the one that you loved
But your vision was obscured
Heart strings tied in knots and what not

I was the one that you loved
But your vision was blurred
Deterred by appearances; headlights caught

and interferences

Afraid of giving because of what you’ve got

Soon the window of hope will close

Long before the distractions slow to a stop
Leaving the fresh air of opportunity to the ravens

I was the one whose desire was on fire

But your kettle’s been stirred
By false pretense and swagger like cadence
While my own is left vacant in the sun to rot
