Sometimes in life you should take a gamble. It will either pay off or cost you dear, but isn’t it better to take the initial plunge, instead of becoming ridiculed by guilt.

Take the plunge-
I will help you not fall
into the ocean. Expunge
the negativity, I know that is what will make you stall.

As you face the walk on the plank,
all you see is deep, empty water-
But I promise you will be able to thank
me in the end.

I know also, that all that is to loiter
your mind are shark infested waters, but take the trend
and follow me.
The agonize that burdens you will elapse-
Believe me and put your trust
in me. So take my hand I promise you will not collapse
beyond the dark, mysterious waters and adjust
all concerns.

Throw those concerns into the ocean of mystery
that you see and watch the turns
of emotion follow as the concern turns into history,
as you begin to walk the plank.

Those shark infested waters you first saw,
begin to swim away,
as you start to abide by the law
which had been set, at first by me.

The end is upon you as you begin to stutter once more,
Your toes curl up, hang onto the end of the plank I see.
A splinter becomes an embodiment and the tore
becomes a hurdle. You do not want to drown
I can see this. But you have come so far
do not let the end of the plank cause a frown
For you. I know I raised the bar
And it seems too easy for me,
But I saw the sharks too.

I felt the anxiety as I reached the
end of the plank, just like you.
I looked below and saw the drop into the deep
dark waters and the sharks
circling too.
But as I looked further I embarked
Courage as it was shallow there and I took the plunge.

Now it is your turn-
I never drowned see. I became the butterfly
as I took the strokes which made me learn
and now I am here, to help you swim by.
Take the plunge ‘I beg of you’,
and lets reach the shallow section and try.

You see the sharks have swam on
Now you know it makes sense.
Take the final step and lunge
into a dive, the feeling I promise will be immense.
I thank you, you have done it you took the plunge,
Even when you had such fear.

I made a promise that I would help you not fall
Into the ocean, now that has been achieved we share a tear
of joy. I am so glad you never took the stall
you had gotten stuck on before.

The promise that you will thank me come the end
has just been shown by the courage used once more.
