If we spend too much time looking at other people’s talents (which usually only look easy because of all the time and effort invested), then we won’t be able to see our own.

Your little scribbles are entertaining. The fact that you are writing them down and sending them to be posted on the internet shows that you are already making use of your talents.

If you had all the talents you wished for we wouldn’t have the benefit of your humorous poems and delightful photos of the scenic areas around your hometown. Stick with what you’re good at then you’ll still have all those wonderful things to wish for.

To echo Karen, too many people see talent as all the stuff that goes on in the limelight. For instance, we see the movie star, but forget that without great writers and directores behind the scenes, there would be no movie stars.
