As the sun begins to rise
Giving life to all around us
As a new born baby cries.

Perhaps you may have wondered
Bout the clouds up in the sky
Have you looked at them and marvelled
Then watched the birds glide high.

Or maybe you have wondered
Whilst standing on the shore
Do the oceans try to speak to us
Each time they crash and roar.

Have you ever wondered
When it starts to spit with rain
Is it Gods tears that are falling
On his world that gives him pain.

Or have you ever wondered
Whats the purpose to our life
The good times, joy and happiness
The heartache, pain and strife.

And have you ever wondered
In night times silent tone
Does the darkness overcome you?
Does it make you feel alone?

Now all these things I’ve wondered
In my silent, private way
So I’m sure I’ll keep on wondering
Until my dying day.
