Does poetry take the place
of the angry capsule inside
does it become my doorway of light
is it my secret way out
my way to end our pain
is it what will save me from
spoken words harm
will it save me from the
heart break i will cause
just let go in writting for all
to see
telling someone will always
set you free
empty out into a page
all that constricts you
and ties you inside
keep it all flowing
the truth and the pain
the feelings that hurt
and the feelings that save
the feelings that burn
and the feelings that soothe.
