In a world unto myself

A quiet place in a square box

No windows, doors, or opening at all

I write alone in an empty void

It is without form or shape

From a voice that lives beyond me

They often comes in dreams

While I watch nature beside a country stream

I write alone as my feeling react

As I try to filter out the facts

The energy I use is everywhere

I write alone but not by myself

As thoughts enter my head

I am told what to feel or say

I am sure there is no science explanation

It is outside of both reality and science fiction

For those things that I know

There are many more things I am not aware

Some things we can see while others we cannot

So I write this verse alone for others I wish to share

I close my eyes and focus my ideas

To draw a picture of what I feel

This is a tool I use while I am alone

This is useful while I am at home
