Another old poem I wrote it’s a shorter poem
Today I wrote your name across my hand,
but it was ruined like a wave washes up all the sand,
I wrote it once again scribbled in black ink in my notebook,
but the rain smeared it away in a instant look.
Today I wrote your name in the fluffy white clouds,
but an airplane came crashing through it causing a big white crowd,
I wrote it on my top right sneaker and then on the left one,
but the minute the morning came it faded as I did my daily run.
Today I wrote your name on my sweathers sleeve,
but my friend borrowed it when she was ready to leave,
I wrote it once again in a goodbye letter sent to you,
but the wind was heavy and it just flew now I’m left without you here..
and not a thing left to do…
Then The next day..
Instead of writing your name down,
I had a better idea I found,
I kept your name inside my heart,
like a tattoo staying with me forever and…
its been there all along from the very first start.
