Confusion in relationships.

Love to love
And sorrow to sorrow
In a cave of confusion
That drips tears from the ceiling
All I want is you
I can see your face in the ice like a mirror maze
With shards of crystals everywhere
I know that love is hot
So something must be wrong here
If only I could break through all of the ice
And escape this dark cold cave
Maybe you’re outside looking in
Waiting for me to find the way
Explaining why I can’t find you here
You must have found a way
To leave the commotion that leads to chaos
And the silence that leads to the bitter cold
No, that’s not it
I heard your voice from the outside
Where peace is abundant
And came in to rescue you
Now that your free
Why am I still here

Great poem. I love the questioning aspect of it. it makes an almost mysterious tone appear that entices the reader and holds their attention. I couldn’t stop reading when I started. Well done
