Will Stingy Stan share his clown? C. Namore Wrinkles finishes her hilarious tale.
Well, one day Stingy Stan was being entertained by his clown,
His clown suddenly said, “I’m getting sick of this town!
Everyone is so sad, everyone is so blue.
And I’m getting tired of working for you!”
The clown lifted Stingy Stan from up off the floor
And with all of his might, tossed Stingy out of his own front door.
It just so happened the mail carrier was outside
Delivering mail next door to Mrs. McBride
When Stingy Stan came flying out of his home
And landed on his front lawn, on top of a statue gnome.
The mail carrier hand never seen such a sight
And it nearly gave him a terrible fright.
But then he realized it wasn’t fear that he felt
Once he noticed his stomach jiggling above his belt.
Slowly the jiggle rose up into his chest.
It seemed to like it there the best.
It grew and grew as it rose up into his mouth.
Finally, he just had to let it out.
“Ahh ha ha haaaa!”
The mail carrier’s laugh caused the ground to shake.
Everyone who was asleep was now wide awake.
They walked out their front doors to see what it was all about
When they all felt the jiggle and had to let it out.
Pretty soon the entire town was laughing so hard
As they fell over with laughter in their front yards.
People who were driving brought their tires to a screech,
Climbed out of their cars and laughed in the street!
And poor Stingy Stan, all he could do
Was shake his fist and yell,
“Stop laughing you silly fools!”
Just when Stingy Stan felt the worse of his disgrace,
His clown threw a banana cream pie in his face.
The crowd laughed so hard they started to cry
And rolled on the ground, holding their sides.
Never again were the people so sad.
The clown traveled far and wide throughout the land.
He invited his clown friends over as well.
Laughter rang through the land like the Liberty Bell.
The clowns started a circus and some even started a band,
Now they also had music throughout the land.
So let this be a lesson to you, Terrance Quib
(Watch it, chocolate syrup is dribbling down your bib).
When it seems as though sadness you can never escape from,
A time of laughter is sure to come.
