A poem about truth and sincerity.

If hearts fell from the sky like rain,

If the world could wash away all of its pain,

If love lied in the hearts of the true,

And those words really held value; I love you.

If the imagination was not a waking dream,

The dreamers would then not wonder, what does it all mean?

Would all questions be answered?

Would all fear be extinguished?

Would the prison of doubt be relinquished?

Love breeds love,

Wonder breeds wonder,

So where did we go all asunder?

Take a step back,

Take a breath,

Take that plunge and have faith you’ll never lack,

A crazy maze, in a daze, we walk amongst ourselves never phased,

Love remains a game we play,

Where those we put in our heart never have the heart to stay,

Paper flows from our work; invisible debts to be paid,

The media shows that all we need to be happy is to have money and to get laid,

Oh child within where do you hide?

How could I think in this adult world, that you could abide?

If hearts fell from the sky like rain,

If the world could wash away all of its pain,

If love lied in the hearts of the true,

And those words really held value; I love you.
