If I could only get on Hot Content
I wouldn’t daunt it or flaunt it.
I would be excited, happy, and feel triumphant
that my work had been read by many
as it was Stumbled Upon, put on
Facebook and given a new look, or
went to Google –I wouldn’t be frugal as I could see
that I may end up in Technorati , or myspace , or Newsvine
or simply Emailed to another kind.
I wish I could say that I was a poet and didn’t even know it,
but as you can see I’m a writer
so make my day a little brighter and
soar me to the top of the Hot Content list.
That’s all I’ve ever wished!
