If I could go back
There are so many thing that I would change
Obtain that of which I now lack
And set things I never did to engage…

…We waste our lives and lose our selves
And regret will feast on that time which we set a waste
Rising up from where it dwells
How salty these regretful tears do taste.

If I could go back
There are so many thing that I would change
Obtain that of which I now lack
And set things I never did to engage

If I could go return
To that of which I left
In hopes of finding something new to learn
In certain situations I may not forfeit

But reality behold
That no matter how much I do regret
I cannot return to those days of old
Nor can I escape life’s impounding threats

The situations that I’ve faced
Are all written with a book of steel
And bound with diamond chain to where it’s laced
To lift its wieght is unberable, bringing me to kneel

No endavoured sword
With vigourous holder
can cut the fibers and return me past-toward
Mistakes are mine to carry seeing as I am the maker

We must not spend our lives
Peering into windows of the past
And watching as tommorow does arrive
And sitting as the present passes by so fast

We waste our lives and lose our selves
And regret will feast on that time which we set a waste
Rising up from where it dwells
How salty these regretful tears do taste
