If I knew it would be the last time

I would see him walk out the door,

I would hug and kiss and call

Him back for one more…

If I knew it would be the last time

I would hear his voice or see his face,

I would show him my love and

Won’t let it go to waste…

If I knew it would be the last time

I would be there to share his day,

I would never let the chance of spending

That moment with him slip away…

But just in case I might be wrong

And today is all I ever get,

I would like to say I love him and

Hope we will never forget…

So hold your loved ones close today

And whisper in their ear,

Tell them you love them and that

You’ll always be there…

Take time to say “I care for you”, “Thank you”,

“I am so sorry” or “It is okay”,

So if tomorrow never comes,

You’ll have no regrets come what may…
