Lonely for a lover to be near and envisioning with the mind that they are there.

Staring into space ~

I can envision your face.

Each line I trace.

Your kissable lips

are felt in my hips.

Your beautiful eyes

are tender and wise.

I reach into naked air,

as if to touch your hair.

Gently, taking the utmost of care.

I feel a surge

emanating where my fingers and hands merge.

It is contagious throughout my core.

Causing my senses to come alive and roar.

Only you can do this.

Cause me to feel such bliss.

If only you were really here.

If only you were really near.

I’d jump into your arms,

and seduce you with my wit and charms.

But ~ that is what I would do

if you were really here.

I slowly wipe away a tear.

I need your touch.

I need it this much.

Another pleasantly touching poem…erupted straight from the heart….within the ambience of the first picture of sacred earth from space….wonderful rhyming scheme and rhythm with musical quality….I have really enjoyed it…thanks

DB – This is a beautiful, romantic, even slightly erotic poem. As you stare out into space, hope your view is blocked by his face and you will feel the touch that you crave so much.
