The second poem in a series of darker poems that I call “The Scarlet Poems”.
I say unto you:
O’ woe begotten
Child of Scarlet.
Come amongst us,
In the nights Shadow.
Let us lie in wait,
For the sweetest taste,
Innocent blood.
Let us lash out in fury,
Against a harmless soul.
Let us swallow their heart.
Eat of them.
Alive.
The grave eats the carcass.
The whole family awaits.
Let us descend now,
Into the shadowy pit.
We shall bath in splendor,
Our hearts set in power.
Fill our bowels with flesh.
Living flesh,
Warm in our mouths.
Come into the fold with us.
In the masters holy house
With his bride.
Your mother.
Scarlet
