I’ll be Fine Without You Someday

A poem about finally picking yourself up after a heartbreak, and believing that you’ll be okay.

I’d like to be free of the pain you left me

To be whole, the way I was before I met you

I want to move on and live life, I’m ready

I’ve done all I can, I don’t know what’s left to do

Someday these struggles will be worth it

I’ll finally be happy and completely sane

To enjoy the simple things, every little bit

The feel of my hair under the sunshine, and skin in the rain

Completely alone and okay.
