I dedicate this poem to my sister in-law Carol who lost her battle with Breast Cancer today. She was 53 years old and she left behind 14 children. Please pray for my brother and his children. May you rest in peace Carol.

I’ll Be Watching Over You

I have moved on to a better place

I have gone because it was my time

Do not fear for me

For I am safely in God’s sight

I have gone to Heaven

For my journey on earth is done

Though I have crossed over

My memory will live on

I will live on in the ones that I love

Through their memories of me

Hold on to the memories, dear one’s

Let them bring you comfort and peace

Don’t forget these words…

I’ll be watching over you

And my love will remain with you

Your whole life through

Anytime you need to talk to me

I’ll be be listening to your words

You may not be able to see me

But I will be there, rest assured

Some day when you cross over

I’ll be waiting with a smile on my face

We will be together once again

And we will embrace

Heartache is genuinely expressed in this form, and with you quite well!
