A poem about dreams of the future.
I find myself falling, unintentionally
Wishing for infinite sunsets and scuba dives
Afraid to say it for so many reasons
—–
So many reasons to shelter the waves
I can see your desire
Hiding behind the smallest smile
—–
The smallest smile lightly painted
On a face I’d give the world to touch
Shatter the screen and step through, fearless
—–
Fearless and ready, I’d sweep you up
With a broom made from long lashes and surprise kisses
Transcending all we’ve known
—–
All we’ve known wouldn’t compare
To dreams of magnetism without borders
A place I hope to be one day
—–
One day I’ll meet you there.
