If I could leave this world I’d drag you along with me.
I’d scoop you right off the ground and take you to the stars.
Gravity would only pull us closer together.  
I would show you that Pluto is still a planet.
I would show you how much of a lie we’ve been fed about the size of the universe.

We’d find our zodiac sign and wish upon them.
You’d tell me secrets about your past.
I’d tell you secrets about the future.
I would kiss you until your body was covered in goose bumps.
I’d hold you until you were no longer cold.

You’d tell me your hungry,
I would feed you love.
I would have trouble keeping up with you dancing amongst the asteroids.
And singing with the whistling comets.
But I’d accept your curiosity.
I’d accept your innocence of pleasure.
I would be right behind you,
Following every single step that you took.

I would hold your hand.
I’d curse Saturn for mocking you.
And praise the Sun for commenting your beauty.
I wouldn’t allow time to be on our mind.
I’d freeze frame every moment with you.

The burning stars around us would reflect in your eyes.
My love would radiate through my finger tips as i traced your silhouette.
Our lips would only break way when breath escaped us.
Lights would show the truth.
Darkness would cower away.

I’d let go of the past
And
Prepare for the future.
Because
