Tear open the abyss
The space between
The fill of your embrace
The shelter I quietly miss

Recreate the history of two
Blend together the hope
Of beginning affections
Bold, and vulnerably true

Illuminate my heart
The spirit within
Take me back, in quickest haste
Before true love shattered, woefully apart

Drench my hurt with adoration
In rhythm with coupled steps
Lining the gleaming ocean
With shadowed footprints

Oh! Take me be back to the start
Where two hands clasped interlaced
And visions of fairytale dreams were
All that lovers could fathom to chase.
