Vulnerable and true.

I’m lost
Without you

A hollow rush, pleading
Vulnerable and true

Grasping for your touch
Comforted only, by solitude
A faithful friend
A hand I must
Embrace, once again

I’m quieted, sorrow-filled
Thrown against a sea
Of painted clouds
Of images reflecting
Two forms once entwined perfectly

I close my eyes to you
My legs throb in agony
As I run away madly
From everything I once knew

To forget, to feel
To scream, to steal
The smallest glimpse
Of two

I’m lost
Without you

I don’t usually like music inspired poetry; too often, it is simply an echo of the published lyrics. In this case, you need to listen to the music video as well as read the poem. Understanding who is being missed, and why, this poems is poignant and intense. For anyone who has felt grief the line “as I run away madly” expresses the need to escape the inescapable. I have “liked” and Stumbled this one.

Find your way-my love!Partnership is like a forest–keep a compass and a gun–never know which will be needed first! Hope you find he that runs your inner legs to rubber–kind of burn rubber on them–so that all the fun, pleasure, zoo-ball good times will follow you for the rest of your life! See! I write you into your own good fairy tale–bye! Bye! Tinkerbelle!
