Poem.
Through your snickers and sarcastic smiles
Through all the skeptics -Their fiercest howls
I’m warning you
That your seeds of unkindness planted with the porcupine hue
Will grow into thorns and thistles as such seeds do
While you are away on your journey around the world
With your unconcerned whistles and twirls
I’m warning you
That the earth is round
And as you travel from town to town
To get back to the other side
All the kindness that you once mistreated will have died
And grown up in its place
Will be thorns and thistles which you can trace
Back to your indifference to the seeds you planted in your haste
And when you travel this way again
It will come at the cost of your sweat, blood, and skin
