Poetry.
my fear takes me
on a journey of your soul
such a silent scene
such a lack of your control
crazed killer underneath
i want to get away
if I breathe any harder
you might hear me
i feel like i’m running through
an imaginary wall
i feel like i’m being set up
for a major fall
the hardest part was never goodbye
it was realizing
your life was a lie
this ignorance makes me ill
i’ve breathed this lie for too long
i’m awake and growing stronger
just move along
before you make this harder
there’s a poison in the air
i feel like i’m running through
an imaginary wall
i feel like i’m being set up
for a major fall
the hardest part was never goodbye
it was realizing
your life was a lie
there’s a poison in the air
a rejection — a taste
of this life
so unfair
i feel like i’m running through
an imaginary wall
i feel like i’m being set up
for a major fall
the hardest part was never goodbye
it was realizing
your life was a lie
