All of us, well most of us have something that gets us through the day. Something that gets us through those moments when we want to give up.
Imaginary Friends
Are always the fucking best
Helping me with these times of end
And helping me get my rest.
I lay in bed
Thinking of all that was said
The night before
I can’t take anymore
But I close my eyes
And delve into a hundred lies
Thinking of make believe happiness
And a world that never was
I dream and all seems
To be so well and no one’s mean
But I know I’ll awake
To nothing but pain that I just can’t take
My friends help me with all of my problems
I don’t have to worry about all of my sins
As that alarm shouts into my ear
I turn it off so I don’t have to hear.
In the sorrowed halls
I hear mocking calls
Making me stall
And meet my fall.
