I am the stars that twinkle in the night sky,

I am the mighty river that’s meandering by.

I am the giant wave that kisses the moon,

I am that caterpillar encased in that cocoon.

 

I am the raindrop that touches your brow,

I am the sunlight that melts the snow.

I am everywhere that you want me to be,

I am your dream, your wildest fantasy.

 

Just close your eyes and I am there,

I am your thoughts, I am everywhere.

I am Imagination, your magic in the mind,

The anthem of creativity one could ever find.

 

When I am down and feel like running away, 

I remember my dwelling place and out there I stay.

It’s my solace, my dream come true, 

Memories come alive to bring a smile or two. 

 

I close my eyes and then I see, 

You in my world, alive in my fantasy. 

Together we run and wondrously play,

Turn every darkness into brightness of day. 

 

My life and love in perfect harmony,

Living in happiness, in my fantasy.

Imagination you are my lasting best friend,

I love and cherish you to the very end.

 

You are my Stranger in my fantasy,

Live in the game of ecstasy. 

You are close to my heart yet so very far,

For you’re my jewel and my twinkling star.

 

I’m a mind player and that’s where you stay,

Non existent in reality in any way.

You are a dream in whatever you do,

You are close to me in the mind so true.

 

You evoke in me a positive vibe,

To help me move through my pain and strife.

You are to me but my mind’s apparition,

That’s where I love you without explanation.

 

Alive in my Imagination you are wild and free,

My best friend forever in mind’s mystery.

Whatever I do out there is all for you, 

For you live in the recesses of the world we drew.

 

Imagination, my companion through thick and thin,

You are my Stranger that resides deep within. 

There’s no trace of you in life’s reality, 

For you dwell in a place that attains immortality. 

 

I am but a trickster at heart and with the mind I play, 

I seldom take things on trust though I make you think that way. 

I am but your Imagination and I’m present everywhere, 

I turn everything into fantasy and build a perfect world out there.
