I wrote this poem while imagining the kind of daughter I would love to have one day.
Your skin is as smooth as milk,
And radiates like warm honey,
I can only hope you will be very funny.
Your brown hair will move freely through the air,
And at night it will look good nomatter the flair.
Your lips are as red as wine,
I hope you will not be as bitter as a lime.
Your smile shines like a waters surface in the sun,
I hope that you and I will have a lot of fun.
Your eyes are heavy and brown,
You will surly have every boy in town.
You will have a girlish figure that is perfect and right,
That no boy will be willing to take flight.
Your voice will have a pretty tone,
There is noway you will ever be alone.
When you have your first day in school,
I hope the other kids will not be mean or cruel.
When you need money,
I will find some for you honey.
When you go on your first date,
He better not have you home too late.
When you cry,I will be near by.
When your in pain,
I will hurt just the same.
When you go off, so big and so bold,
I will always be there for someone to hold.
When your all grown up, and go on with living,
Don’t forget to be giving.
When life takes its toll,
Don’t forget that you have a heavenly soul.
I will love you, I hope that you will love me,
And no matter what happens, You will always be my family.
