I am a piece of paper

Becoming the base for a masterpiece

Or the foundation of a praise-worthy piece of writing

Paper, the modest of things, becomes the most vital of all

Without, there would be nothing to read or write

Or those useful shopping lists to the mall

For without paper our culture would surely fall.

It is often flown through the wind, crumbled and tossed out

Piece by piece, it destroys precious trees that are vitally sought out

So remember and utilize the true value of a piece of paper before you toss it out
