Life in todays world has gotten really complicated.With people not doing right and some losing jobs,its lost what we trusted.Just my way of saying what I think and feel.

But Joe met Jane and is with her as well,

so much for the vows he made to Lauren.

At once a real man provided for his family,

doing what it took to put food on the table.

A real man paid child support for his children,

now it seems some don’t think its necessary.

****

It seems our world isn’t real or is it just me?

real honorable men and women are scarce.

It’s a dog eat dog world that has no mercy,

maybe honesty flew away with the birds.

In nature fathers mostly don’t stick around to help raise the child….its the mothers who show themselves to be the most nurturing. However, true love can be found for those who wish to sift through all the hay to find the needle. It requires a certain patience and the will to be forever alone unless the “real” thing comes along. It takes the will never to give in untill the exploration of the qualities within the suitor is done with completeness. It only takes a second for romance, but love takes much time.

you coined the entire subject of the current situation, perfectly

makes me think of a song I wrote in the late nineties which is even truer today, a great write!!!

You hit the nail right on the head. It is so true. Have gone through and going through the same issues myself- so I can relate. It is sad that the values and beliefs have had to change over the years and the true values really don’t exist- a part of history. I am one that has those old values and I hold strong to them. Although the people I have been with or even hang out with don’t. What has happened to the world around us?
