My love of life and technology, coffee, art, literature, my lover, and my children, and what the world would feel like to me if I didn’t wear glasses.
In a world without glasses
Would the sky be dark and blurry?
Would the sun be dim and yellow?
In a world without glasses
Would I be a beggar
with a pan to collect loose change
on the side of the street.
In a world without glasses
Could I view the stars in the sky,
or could I read the classics
of Twain, London, and Poe,
and maybe even Koontz, or King?
Could I view the Mona Lisa,
and see her smile?
In a world without glasses
I could smell that fresh cup of coffee,
or that fresh cut grass,
but would I see the sparkle
in the love of my life’s eyes,
or watch my children grow?
