Early Poetry.

Without the darkness, would there be a light?

In a world without black, there is no white.

If you don’t really know how pain would feel,

Who’s to say your joy isn’t unreal?

You won’t ever know the greatness of love

Until you have feelings, or the lack thereof.

I’ll ask you once more, so just tell me the truth.

In a world without elders, would there be youth?

Can’t you see what I’ve come to realize?

That it’s so very wrong to idealize

We each have a downfall, no matter how small,

And a world without would be no world at all!
