Darkness and light
Heaven and hell
But in between
How many billions of souls
Searching for a meaning
Sun and moon
Day and night
But in between
How many billions of stars
Lost into nothingness
Power and destiny
Life and death
But in between
How many battles
Won or lost in vain
Abyss and heights
Mountains and seas
But in between
How many roads
Bearing the footprints of a lonely stranger
Birth and death
Silence and scream
But in between
How many billions of words
Giving shape to an irrelevant truth.
Revelation and amnesia
Déjà vu and jamais vu
But in between
How many little dreams
That seem to say nothing but maybe say it all.
