I wrote this while I was listening to a song one day, and while I was listening, the poem actually popped into my head so I knew I had to write it down. The song I was listening to was, "That Girl" by David Choi which I saw on youtube. So, credit goes out to that song which deeply helped me write this, it’s a good song so check it out if you want to.
In Fields of Daisies
In fields of Daisies, we ran like wild fire through the grass
Holding hand in hand, laughing through the audible memories.
In fields of Daisies, we watched the sky and saw the clouds roam free
Gazing as eagles and hawks, danced beautifully like angels in the sky.
In fields of Daisies, we laid down in fields of green right beside each other
Looking at you, everything will always be forever and even more.
In fields of Daisies, we slowed danced to the music of nature
I holding you in my arms, nothing will ever be forgotten.
In fields of Daisies, we walked endless miles and countless steps
Making new beginnings and remaking for the times we were apart.
In fields of Daisies, we showed each other how much we loved
Sitting underneath the trees, nothing will be the same because of you.
In fields of Daisies, being here with you, I never want this feeling to go away
As a flower may grow and wither away, I know our love will never die.
