We need not let life distress us
when we know Jesus as our friend,
Counselor, Protector, Guide,
from beginning to the end.

When we look to God daily
He will light the path we trod.
Through Christ all things are possible
when we put our hand in God’s.

There is no task we can not do,
no mountain we can’t climb,
no burden that’s too great to bear
given to God in God’s own time.

When it seems all our paths are blocked,
when we don’t know which way to go,
God never, ever shuts a door
without opening a window
so we may always see the light
that guides us to the other side
when we trust the Lord to lead us
and in Him our faith abides.

God sees around each corner,
knows what we can’t understand.
We have no need to fret and worry
when our life is in God’s hands.

God has a plan. It’s all laid out,
He even wrote for us a guide
and His hosts are always with us,
always right here at our side;
Holy Spirit, Guardian Angels,
when in God we abide,
always trusting, always leaning,
always walking towards the light,
God in His infinite wisdom
will always lead us right.

God walks this Earth before us.
He knows. He understands
and He will lead us through the valleys
as we walk hand in hand
with God, all wise and wonderful,
o’er every mountain we must climb,
even when our lives seem stormy
and in dark shadow for a time…

God is always with us
when we follow Him in faith
and He will always shelter us
within His loving grace.

No burden is too great to bear.
We can do each thing we must
when we let God do the leading
but that choice is up to us.
No matter what befalls us,
God has the perfect plan
and life is so much sweeter
when we leave it in God’s hands.

He is our Lord and Savior,
our Teacher, Priest and King
and when we follow as He leads
we can get through anything,
climb each steep, ragged mountain,
ford every raging stream…
He is the bridge that gives us life.
He is our all, our everything.

Through Christ all things are possible
when we follow His commands,
stay on the path He’s blazed for us
and walk with Him hand in hand.
