Our brave men in uniform ought to be honored for their selfless action. We ought to lift them up, and thank them always, for protecting our freedoms, especially on Memorial Day.
Our troops,
With their blood, sweat and tears,
Have served us well.
The have protected,
Defended,
And stood by us,
Even though,
They did not know us,
By name.

Upheld what was good,
And stood by the downtrodden.
They have emancipated nations,
Fought for what was right and just.
Their deeds would never be forgotten.
Let it be known,
That those that have paid the ultimate price,
For our freedoms,
Their names and actions would be written in our hearts,
And through time,
We would continue to commemorate,
The actions of these brave men in uniform.
