An OPP shot down just outside of our town. More so an OPP who came help us often. You will be greatly missed Vu.

Watch ended March 8 2010
In Tribute to the Life of Constable Vu Pham Ontario Provincial Police

God Bless all men and women of peace
God Bless Our Ontario Provincial Police
Protectors of freedom, all 24 hours
Standing brave and strong in duties power

On his watch he rose from the dark of night
And calmed our home, that was filled with fright
On his watch he spoke in the light of day
To assure us all, it would be OK

We thanked you then, we thank you now
For everything you do
Please know

From a mothers heart Is constant prayer
For All Angels dressed in Blue
Each day they give their everything
Protecting me and you.

Rest In Peace Constable Vu Pham

    Hi C…
So you knew OPP Constable Vu Pham? That is pretty tragic what happened to him. By the sounds of things on the news he was a pretty incredible officer…well thought of and highly respected. Your personal perspective drives those observances home even deeper. Sorry to hear about your loss and that of your community and the OPP family. I work as a caretaker in a building right across from the RCMP D Division (Manitoba) Headquarters on Portage Avenue here in Winnipeg and was pretty disgusted when their flags were not flown at half staff out of respect. Thanks for sharing your and the community pain in this tragic loss. Take care.

C…I just posted a comment here, but I can not find it anywhere…very frustrating when a person posts a comment and it gets lost in the Triond system…they sure need to get a lot of bugs worked out to make things more efficient and user-friendly.

Hi, thanks! I see your comment actually 2 of them. Yes we knew Vu. He was a terrific Police officer. That would be something great to write about in itself but on 3 occasions He was available. Our home (side of the house with the garage) was ran into by a drunk person in their car at 2- 3 in the morning. We were all jolted in shock out of bed to discover this. Our call to 911 brought in the middle of the night Vu Pham who calmed us all! Then because of situations with my ex and me really being concerned about my 15 year old daughter being in his home (where his new wife punched my daughter in the face) I again contacted police. Again Vu responded went directly to my ex’s home and returned to assure me my daughter was safe. Then just about a month ago there was a car accident on the street in front of our home. Again Vu was the first police officer to respond. He was an amazing man who had a gift in his very being that calmed what was a traumatizing event. This is a tragedy for our small town.also from all I have shared he was an amazing daddy to 3 special young boys who will miss him dearly.

Anyways after my babbling here lol. Thank you for taking time to read and comment. I appreciate it!
