This must be the most anti-erotic poem I’ve ever written…

In no mood for love
no desire for feelings
yet the lust is always strong
a fire that keeps going on

my heart has ceased to yearn
desires no more adventures
my mind is now in charge
keeps me at bay by and large

and if, nevertheless, Cupid’s arrows
find and pierce my heart again
let the pain be sweet as honey
and these words be spent like money

this poem with its photograph will attract many gays
    and many a gal
    and pal
    ur love will stand
    as it always did

one has to be always ready
    to love
    no mood is needed
i am talking of love friend
    not lust
    the snap is as beautiful
as the lovely boys statue nude
    with a smiling penis
    so tis here too!

I have the gay magnet I\’m afraid
I can\’t help it,it must be my beard

I am always ready for love
love is just not always ready for me

    lust without love is like
    a lion without a heart

    love without lust is like
two friends who want to be lovers

    And all the while
    Caravaggio’s Cupid
    keeps smiling on us!

I like this poem very much, Sharpedon. Thank you. Yes honey is sweet but it leaves a burning taste. If this is your most anti-erotic poem what are your pro-erotic ones like? I’ve just re-read it, it’s very good and more-ish.
