An acrostic based on Linkin Park’s "In The End".

Indifference hangs in the air
Never questioning the silence

Too naive to see the anguish
Hoping that it would fade away
Ever so foolish in believing

Eager for affection that died
Needing someone to love and trust
Doomed to failure in the end
