Some life lessons I’ve learned that may help you through hard times….

Image via Wikipedia

I’ve often heard it preached

That “Trouble don’t last always”

But they never tell you the secret

To making it through bad days

How do we hold onto our hope

Until our change has come

Hang onto our sanity -

Where will our patience come from?

What do we do in the meantime

While waiting for the pain to end

When no one’s there to help us through;

We cannot find a friend?

I think I’ve found the answer

A way to ease the strain

Remember that flowers can not bloom

If they do not get rain

And we will have some storms as well

But enjoy some sunshine, too

And appreciate a little more

Those days when skies are blue

Take joy in all the little things

Be grateful for the good

Don’t fret over what you cannot change

If you’ve done all you could

You won’t get everything you want

Learn how to want what you’ve got

For this is the key to contentment

Stop trying to be what you’re not

Your problems may seem bigger

Than other folks you know

It may just be that they have learned

We must be pruned to grow

It’s painful and it’s trying

But when the process ends

You’ll realize your meantime

Is where new life begins

Very insipirational and you feel that feeling of empowerment after you read it.

    Fantastic work!

A great flow, good use of metaphor i.e. storm etc. All in all a delightful share and very inspirational!

Nice piece, but there are some troubles that can make even a very hopeful and great man/woman of faith start praying for faith as if they have never had it (faith) in the first place. People in such dark places are not impressed by mere juicy or inspiring words,it takes God to comfort and transform them. such people should look only to the author and finisher of their faith

Nev, I can appreciate your comment, but what of those who are not believers? Do they not need for us who do believe to give them a practical solution? Then, perhaps, they may approach us and ask us how we can be so sure – that will be our way to introduce them to faith in God.

    This too shall pass

    Just sleep over it

    Find a listener friend

    Well wisher like me

    All trebles end

As I place mine in the wastes basket

    Place yours besides it

    Then wow just garbage

It now it’s his too shall pass

    Just sleep over it

    Find a listener friend

    Well wisher like me

    All troubles end

As I place mine in the wastes basket

    Place yours besides it

    Then wow just garbage it

    Now it’s his

We have the past times and what is yet to come. What we have is the meantime and only when we have done our part are we deserving to expect for a better tomorrow….I could relate, well written.
