A poem of illusion. A one’s hallucination of things around him.
Silence, intense silence.
Shakes the depths of me.
Loneliness is creeping my bones.
Sucking every bit of it.
The world stood still.
Not a single creature moves.
Not a soft blew of breeze,
Disturbed the solitude of a place.
I heard voices from far away.
Calling and shouting at me.
But when around, I glance.
I only hear the sound of silence.
The peace and the loneliness,
The solitude and the silence.
Whispering to my ears.
It’s just too much to bear,
To be in the midst of despair.
