This poem is quite amazing, I admit. I installed some spectacular imagery into a rather calm scene. Although I don’t have much to say on this poem. Except that it is from an image that I saw and a memory that I still have. I guess I built it around that. I’ll leave it to the reader. Comments are open.

In the Moonlight

Night.

In a peaceful

Place.

In relaxation

Of the body

And mind.

The moon

Is full.

A calm

And gentle

Breeze

Is among.

The trees

Gently

Rustle.

The small river

Is gushing

Creating

A small

Yet soothing

Echo.

The fireflies

Lurk

And the crickets

Sound off.

To just relax

Is hard

To accomplish

But to try

Won’t hurt much.

Know

That the hurt

Is dimming

Just like the sun.

For it is now

The end

Of the day.

Care

To take a walk?

Shall we

Hold hands?

Be this

A never ending

Routine.

In the dullness

Of the moonlight

The world

Lights up.

This

Is quite

Enjoyable.

To kiss

To hug

To hold

Each other

Whereas

There is nothing better

On this Earth

Then this.

In the Moonlight

Of Lunar illumination.

This wasn’t made

To become a

Nightmare.

Let’s hope

It stays

That way.

To stay here

Forever

In this environment.

Away from

The pressures

Of life.

In this gentle place

In this haven

Of lunar illumination

In this natural beauty

Of both nature

And the someone

Next to me.

Among this

It is all

In the Moonlight.

I love the poem since I am always drawn on the moonlight. I like the choice of words you used on this poem.
