Christmas story!
In the silence of the night.
The children were tucked away.
With their eyes slightly ajar.
On a beautiful moon-lit night.
Full of wonderful, magical star.
They pretended to be asleep,
as they listened for Santa’s reindeer’s
Pulling many toys in mounds and heaps.
The stocking hung very neatly,
at the edge of the chimney display.
They will soon be filled with candy.
In the house where the children played.
The Christmas tree was filled with lights.
So many that shined, beautiful and bright.
The morning would soon be here,
and the children will wake-up in delight.
For each little boy and girl
A tree full of presents adds
joy to their world.
