A funny poem based on Christopher Paolini’s hit series, The Inheritance Cycle.

Thorn is red,

Saphira is blue,

If I were a dragon,

I would hatch for you.

And when flying above,

In the dead of night,

For you alone,

My scales would shine bright,

When you seek wisdom, come,

For I will be your sage.

Nothing will harm you when I’m around,

Not even Galbatorix on rampage.

Lastly, when you are sad,

Please just come to me,

As Rider and Dragon,

We will live out our years in glee.
