I’m not going to cover my notebook in lyrics

nor in fancy pictures

I will cover it with logic

but then add pretty stickers.

For you see, no matter how smart

or intellectual you may be

there is always the inner child

that you should let roam free.

No matter how high your test scores

if you don’t let the child out

nothing can be understood

you won’t know what life is about.

For life is not all about facts

its about exploration and fun too

so for a while, put down the books

and simply be you.

Have a smile, a laugh if you will

live life on the edge

then you may return

to your precious knowledge.
