As we soar high above the hatred on the green and blue dotted landscape below…
Pretty little bird, perched precariously in my window
Won’t you sing a song for me?
Just one to soothe my stormy soul.
Let me fly with you, little birdie.
Won’t you carry me on your back
As we soar high above the hatred on the green and blue dotted landscape below.
Won’t you save me from this place, little birdie?
Give me hope and a reason to believe.
Rescue me, little birdie, I swear I’ll never forsake you.
Let’s fly to a place where no one exists
And sing songs of a better tomorrow.
Pretty little bird, perched precariously in my window
You were only a dream.
