A Cliff-Hanger falls off the mountain.

Climbing the cliff
was suppose to be fun,
he felt stiff,
arms ached, heart pounding loud,
no fan-fare, no crowd,
the rope snapped,
his mind clapped,
his emotions trapped,
he screamed,
his sanity streamed,
and he wished it were all a dream,
as his voice tailed off,
rapid blinking and a dry cough,
the sky looked vaguely familiar,
and thinking about it will not last,
intensity building,
and the ground was coming fast.
