For all who are involved in an internet romance. May you someday meet each other and live happily ever after together.

Internet romance quickly developed,

Needing each other but far away.

Two lovers yearning to be together,

Eagerly awaiting their chance to meet.

Romantic vibes through cyber space,

Naughty words they love to exchange.

Each one lost in their own little world,

Temptation neither one is able to resist.

Romance blossomed for two strangers,

Only have eyes for each other now.

Many miles are separating the lovers,

Alone but together in their hearts.

Nourishing true love from a distance,

Craving for a chance to be together.

Eternal love they will always share.

Nice poem Darla, but I can bet most internet relationships are just fantasies on the way to great disappointments. They can serve a personal need or enjoyment as long as the real actors don’t meet up.

Great stuff, Darla. You actually hear of people falling in love this way. They fall in love with the fantasy—where-as the reality can be somewhat disappointing.
